Jan & Linz have a refreshing individuality which was so evident in their design of their wedding celebration. They chose the historic Methodist church at Green Market Square for their ceremony followed by the elite Nasdak rooftop venue for their reception dinner, where guests enjoyed an evening of entertainment surrounded by sparkling city lights. Their wedding was marked by incredible music performances from their guests throughout the day: stirring spiritual, romantic renditions, live jazz and totally wild kazoo ‘bleating’ at the newlyweds’ entrance to Nasdak.
Their coupleshoot is particularly memorable for us: marching the city streets with this glam couple, past modern industrial walls and delicate Victorian facades that shouldered the freezing winds of a Cape Town winters’ day. The rain held off for our excursion but the sheen of wet streets illuminated in the rosy light of dusk was a perfect backdrop to a nestled kiss, or a cute giggle in each others arms. It was a treat to capture their quirky, playful side and their delight in one another.
