So I can’t quite remember whether it was Ruth and Chad’s suggestion or ours to do a sunrise engagement shoot, and as the 4 of us headed towards the South Peninsula at something like 4.45am I’m guessing that a few of us in the car might have been questioning our decision! But our early start was rewarded with some of the most beautiful light and colours that I can remember, and a morning that really was a memorable adventure for all of us. Ruth and Chad led us to the secret beach where they got engaged, a truly special place for them, and once again I was reminded about what a privilege it is to be able to help people capture and memorialise some of the most significant moments in their lives. We ended off our morning with coffees, fresh croissants and chats in Kalk Bay. Ruth and Chad, we can’t wait to shoot your wedding in a few months time – congrats guys!
